From a birthday dinner to a company celebration, we can host your event in Melbourne or Brisbane — with the whole restaurant to yourselves, or part of it.

The restaurant is yours

Take the whole restaurant, or part of it, for lunch or dinner. For an evening event, we can reopen after lunch service for your guests alone. Events on the days we are usually closed can often be arranged.

  • A screen, speakers and two microphones, at no charge
  • A floor plan shared with you before the day
  • Speeches, awards, a photo booth, flowers or a cake — just let us know in advance

Food and drink

Every event is built around our kitchen: canapés and a seated course, a sake pairing, or an omakase with our chefs introducing each course. We shape the menu with you, and dietary requirements are welcome.

How it works

  3. 3A deposit secures your date.
  4. 4We confirm the menu, the floor plan and your final numbers before the day.

Event questions

Can we hire the whole restaurant?

Yes, for lunch or dinner, at either restaurant. You can also reserve part of the restaurant for your group.

Is there a minimum spend?

Yes, exclusive hire has a minimum spend on food and drinks. We confirm it for your date in your proposal.

How many guests can you host?

It depends on the restaurant and the format of your event. Tell us your numbers and we will suggest the best set-up.

Can we bring our own wine?

BYO is not available for exclusive hire or private events. Drinks can be arranged to suit your menu.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes. Please tell us when you enquire, and confirm final requirements before the event.

We are a smaller group. Can we book the private dining room?

Yes. For smaller groups, our private dining room can be booked at both restaurants. Book online or call the restaurant.
